Susan C. Hammond is the former CFO for Fuller Craft Museum with extensive experience with nonprofit boards and governance issues. She is the co-founder of the Center for Women & Enterprise and the SSWBN where her role included drafting the by-laws and tax-exempt application and developing the board. She serves on the Advisory Boards of the Center for Entrepreneurship Studies at Bridgewater State College and the Women’s Leadership Institute at Bentley University. Previously she served on the board of the Arts & Business Council of Greater Boston and numerous other nonprofit and advisory boards. While on the board of the Arts & Business Council she served as vice chair and as the chair of the committee charged with evaluating the merger with the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. Susan presently works with organizations as a business advisor, coach, consultant and advisory board facilitator. STEVEN V. DUBIN, president of PR WORKS, knows the “news” business. His newspaper career started by covering the Boston Celtics for the New Bedford Standard Times, Steve and Larry Bird shared rookie years. From there Steve progressed to editing and marketing positions in several publishing companies, including Mariner Newspapers.
He has a contributing author to “Get Slightly Famous”, a book about becoming a celebrity in your field and attracting more business with less effort and “Tricks of the Trade”, the complete guide to succeeding in the advice business.
He understands that good marketing and “news” has to be a win-win. Stories must be useful and interesting to an editor’s primary audience. Free exposure is only available to those who recognize news angles, package news in a digestible form, and take care of all the details of story placement – from arranging interviews to providing appropriate visuals.
Timothy S. Bell, CPA – Audit & Accounting Manager
Timothy S. Bell, CPA of Malloy, Lynch, Bienvenue LLP is a 1991 graduate of Nichols College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration – Accounting. Mr. Bell has 18 years of experience in accounting and finance for public and private sector clients.
Mr. Bell has substantial experience in non-profit and government finance, federal grant (Single Audit) requirements, financial and grant management, and in auditing and implementing accounting systems and procedures. He has been responsible for completing a wide-range of non-profit and municipal engagements from internal control reviews, departmental efficiency reviews, compliance and internal control testing, agreed upon procedures, planning and completing audits.
Mr. Bell is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, and MSCPA Non-profit Audit Committee.
