On Thursday evening June 23rd Interfaith Social Services will host the maiden voyage of their Anchors of Hope Boston Harbor Cruise. Proceeds from this fun filled event will help feed and comfort impoverished local families.
– All aboard! Interfaith Social Services is hosting their Anchors of Hope Boston Harbor Cruise on Thursday evening June 23rd. Embarking from The Fore River Shipyard Ferry Terminal this cruise will benefit impoverished South Shore families. Beautiful views of Boston”s historic seaport and skyline are guaranteed. Festivities include hors d”oeuvres, a cash bar, silent auction, raffles and live entertainment by PanNeubean Steel. Silent auction items include: red sox tickets, spa certificates, gift cards for local restaurants and businesses, a one-night stay and breakfast for two at the Boston Marriot in Quincy, dinner for two aboard The Odyssey, and many other exciting items.
One of the principal sponsors of the event is Boston’s Best Cruises. Their beautiful ship the Voyager
III will allow passengers to cruise in comfort. The ship has an incredible amount of outside viewing areas on various decks, and ample air conditioned inside seating.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the programs of Interfaith Social Services (ISS). Since 1947 ISS has been feeding, clothing and comforting South Shore families and individuals in need.
The RSVP deadline is Thursday June 16th.
