As we here sit through yet another snow storm (now rain on top of snow – yuck), folks in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania are telling us that since Phil did not see his shadow this morning we will have an early spring…Yipeee!!
So what can we do today to make us feel better? Why not try extending yourself and try something new, or get something planned.
1. Is there a new app you have been thinking about trying out? find some tools that might make your life simpler. Here is a couple of free ones to try out:
Dropbox a file sharing service that even the “not so computer savy” can master. Looks just like a file folder on their computer.
Freshbooks an online invoicing system that can double as a time tracker (think volunteers) and can organize expenses.
2. What about updating your Facebook Group or page with some nifty application?

There is always something to update, but mastering something new always gives me a sense of accomplishment!
3. Set that date for a fundraiser or friendraiser, give your people something to look forward to. I know I always feel good if I have something special planned for the future (vacation, someone visiting, a speaker I want to hear coming into town, a conference I am looking forward to attending, etc.)
4. Want to make Twitter more manageable? Here are 7 tools, and a strategy on how to use them together:
