Help Save the Braintree Community Youth Center at “A Cookout in January!”
Please help to keep the Braintree Community Youth Center from closing. This fun filled event will include a professionally conducted Silent and Live auction by Weitbrecht Auctioneers and awesome entertainment from DJ Ray Productions. There will be lots of great items to bid on! Join us for a fun evening and great deals!!
The BCYC was founded by Jack Ryan, Bill Tennant and Jim Tennant with the support of the Braintree Rotary Club. Doors opened in May 2007 to provide a fun and safe place for Braintree’s youth to hang out. The first executive director was hired in May 2009 when Ann Mazzoli, a graduate of Springfield College’s recreation management program, began overseeing operations. She is working towards the continued improvement of BCYC for members, volunteers and staff.
The cookout menu will include:Grilled Chicken Kabobs and Steak Kabobs with Potato Salad, Corn on the Cob and Tossed Salad. A cash bar will be available throughout the event. All proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to keep the Braintree Youth Center from closing. All major credit cards will be accepted for your purchases. You can sign up here.
The Youth Center is accepting auction item donations right up until the day before the event and appreciate your support. Can’t make it to the event, but would like to support The Youth Center? Donations can be made through this web page, or directly to the Braintree Community Youth Center.
