When we first moved the Massachusetts about 17 years ago, we were fascinated with living so close to so much history. Coming from California, where almost everything is pretty new, we visited Plimoth Plantation often with the kids (they were 10 and 12). We took all our friends that visited there, and to the Mayflower II.

Now Plimoth Plantation is trying to get a grant to keep Mayflower II in ship shape. The grant is for $250,000, and all you have to do is vote on line…you can vote EVERY DAY in December by going here: www.refresheverything.com/saveourship

Its a Pepsi Refresh project, and currently it is ranked 70th, (up from 74th on Thursday).
