Reiko Beach from the Non-Profit Toolbox gives a check to Rick Doane Director of Interfaith Social Services won by Tom Weitbreicht
The day after Labor Day is known as Business New Year, August the end of the business year and a great time to get ahead and prepare for next years successes. Last Tuesday Night The Non-Profit Toolbox held a Networking for Nonprofits event at South Coastal Bank in Quincy, and 25 nonprofit and nonprofit vendors gathered for casual networking and a great short presentation on retirement plans by Heritage Retirement Planning.
Frank Leonard and Howard Nellhaus from Heritage Retirement Planning gave an educational presentation on 403b plans, how they work and changes to the plans because of new financial regulations. There were several give ways for the Nonprofit Organizations and the big winner was Rick Doane from Interfaith Social Services when Tom Weitbreicht from Weitbreicht Auctioners and Appraisers drew the winning raffle ticket.
Interfaith Social Services was our nonprofit partner for this event and it was sponsored by South Coastal Bank in Quincy, Heritage Retirement Planning, and Weitbreicht Auctioners and Appraisers.
Save the date for the next Networking for Nonprofits September 30th at Jordan Hospital in Plymouth. The information will be on our site soon.
