Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield Wins $200
The first Networking Fun Night Out for NonProfit Organizations was last night at the South Shore Natural Science Center in Norwell, MA. Forty people attended the event and had a great time networking with other non-profit organizations to share common concerns. Martha Twigg from the Science Center gave a 5 minute overview of the facility and Stephen Melanson from Melanson Consulting gave a 20 min presentation on verbal branding (we will post the video soon).
After the presentation on verbal branding there were several giveaways with the big winner being The Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield winning the $200 pot drawn from the registration proceeds. Shawn Costa received the check on behalf of the club. Allyson from a local non-profit had this to say about the event:
“Great food, interesting crowd, lovely venue, and a news-you-can-use speaker. Well done!”
We like to give a big thank you to all of the sponsors that made this event possible and all the wonderful people that donated the great give aways to the event.
We are looking forward to holding several more of these events in the future. If you are interested in attending one please sign-up on for our email or join our facebook group. If you are a non-profit that would like to host a networking night please contact us at The Non-Profit Toolbox.
