Family fun, exercise and an opportunity to help impoverished local families is on tap for Interfaith Social Services’ 37th Annual South Shore Walk. Hundreds of people are expected to assemble at Quincy’s Pageant Field on Saturday April 16th. The Walk begins and ends at the field off of Merrymount Parkway. “The Walk is much than an important fundraiser for local families in need” said Interfaith’s Executive Director Rick Doane. “This is a community event which raises awareness about poverty here on the South Shore and brings families together.”
