
Summer programs at the South Shore Natural Science Center are filling up fast! With great weather coming now is the time to sign up for some of their fantastic programs. Here are a few:
Sensational Science
Are you interested in science? Join other young scientists to discover our natural world through scientific exploration. Investigate snow and ice formation and how animals and plants survive the cold winter. Explore the woods and fields for tracks, check out the old rock walls, learn about habitats that stay warm all year, and much more. Find out how much fun science can be!

Sign up for 1, 2 or all 10 classes. Different topics each class. $10/M, $13/NM for each class

Mom and Me Science
Moms, Dads, Grandparents or other caregivers: bring your youngster to the Science Center and have fun with science! Explore the natural world with different topics each week. Enjoy stories, games, crafts, hikes and other great activities, including a take-away to share at home! We may go outside to investigate, so please dress for the weather. Enrollment limited.
- For children ages 3 – 5 years accompanied by an adult
- (No papooses or older siblings, please)
