At the Nonprofit networking event sponsored by Brands for the Greater Good and Weitbrecht Auctioneers, Father Bill’s and Mainspring won the pot of money from the attendees and a balloon ride for two donated by Brands for Greater Good. Father Bill’s & MainSpring (FBMS) is dedicated to ending – not managing – homelessness in our community. With support from local businesses, individuals, community providers, and the public, we can make our belief that “nobody should be homeless,” a reality. In order to truly end homelessness in Southeastern Massachusetts, we take a holistic approach that goes beyond emergency shelter. What a wonder cause.
The event featured roundtable discussions lead by by Jenna Wilkinson Roche from Brands for Greater Good on donor retention, Tom Weitbrecht of Weitbrecht Auctioneers on what makes and successful fundraising raffle, Steve Dubin from PRWorks on getting more headlines, Mark McCurdy from Jobs in Nonprofits and Kevin Oberbeck on what branding really is. There was a lot of great information in a short amount of time!
