I have known Nadine since she started her own business: C.H.A.R.T. Cousulting, we met through a networking group: SSWBN, and I am familiar with the many people Nadine has helped with her human resource expertise. The Non-Profit Toolbox is proud that she is a sponsor of the Non-Profit Toolbox Mini-conferences.
There are many ways to get noticed, and many outlets allow for non-profit organizations and businesses to get their information out. One of the ways a local paper (the Patriot Ledger) is doing it is by highlighting a person in their Herstory, and last week they wrote about Nadine [here]. They had a great photo, and I got to know a little more about Nadine as a person.* I don’t get the Ledger, but I found out about it through a comment on the SSWBN Linkedin group.
Nadine is doing a great job for her business by getting her information out:
You and your non-profit can do the same by nominating someone, a volunteer or a person in your organization for this profile.
*Nominate someone you know for Herstory. Every woman has a story – Her story. Whether we volunteer our time, invest in raising our children, build a business, write a poem, paint a portrait or a community fence, there’s some knowledge and laughter to share in each of us. Nominate someone you know for Herstory by sending an e-mail to womynzone@ledger.com.
That helps Google find you in more places.
How are people finding you? YouTube, Linkedin, Facebook, Local news?
