Collaborating on the Web With New Media
I saw this ebook from Seth Godin last week and thought that it is an excellent example of how people on the web work together, promote each other, and create interesting material. Seth got together with 70 people and each produced a one page article on a topic. Each article gives recognition to the author and direct links to them and/or their work. This is not necessarily a new model, but is much more powerful on the web.
You can download the ebook for free here, or click on the picture to the left.
Social Skills
I like a lot of the one page articles. The one from Penelope Trunk was quite inspirational to me. She talks about dealing with Asperger Syndrome and how hard it was for her to learn to be social. I think this is hard for many people, it also makes things much easier for those that do have social skills. It’s quite impressive that she know works in the Recruiting Industry.
Would you like to learn how to use some of the tools on the web to become more social? Why not sign up for one of these workshops.
