She sees clear trends for successful non-profits:
- They have a strong board of directors in place
- They have good HR policies in place
- They have good fund raising policies in place
- They have a strong mission statement

- Have clarity of mission
- A carefully created and educated Board of Directors
- A strong focus on Community
